Council Chamber, City Hall - book tickets
  • Morning sessions
    The climate threat
    Reducing transport-related emissions
    The business perspective
    Debate - supporting the motor industry
    Presentations on the most promising alternative fuel technologies
  • Afternoon sessions
    City and local initiatives
    Debate - involving the motor industry
    Strategic, marketing and technical approaches to cut carbon
17:00 - 18.45 > WhatCar? Green Car of the Year (by invitation only)
  • 17:00 > Press Reception at the top of City Hall, overlooking the Eco-Rally display
  • 18.00 > Awards Ceremony in Council Chamber
  • 18.45 > The overall winner displayed alongside Eco-Rally vehicles and exhibits
18.45 > Joint Press Call for organisers outside City Hall
  • Revolve, LowCVP, WhatCar?
20.00 > Event ends

Brighton to London Eco-Rally

8:00 > Line-up ~ Madeira Drive, Brighton
(Next to the Yellowave Beachsports Centre)
  • Celebrity speakers
  • Vehicles on display
10:00-11:30 > Start ~ High-speed motorway drive
11:15-13:30 > Inner-London Pit-stop (Location tbc)
  • Vehicles on display
  • Chance for the drivers to get lunch and get talking
  • Chance for drivers to swap cars
  • New drivers and city-cars / bikes join the convoy for the last leg.
13:30-14:00 > City sprint to finish ~ Drive to City Hall via Tower Bridge
  • Vehicles join the low carbon vehicle display
14:45 > Eco-Rally officially welcomed into the city by the Mayor of London
