2010 Bridgestone Eco-Rally - Brighton to London

Revolve are excited to announce Bridgestone as the headline sponsor for this year’s Brighton to London Eco-Rally. As the sole supplier of tyres to F1, the world's largest tyre manufacturer is bringing well-known F1 names to the event. We are confident that the new breed of eco vehicles can live up to the expectations of our Formula One guests. Motorsport is the catalyst for many of today’s cleantech products including kinetic energy recovery systems, carbon-fibre wind-turbine blades and low rolling-resistance tyres.

75% of the British public would consider buying a more eco-friendly vehicle Their biggest concern is range anxiety, where to re-charge and how long they’d have to wait. The rally is a convoy of low and zero emission vehicles which travel the famous Veteran Car Run in reverse, driving from Brighton’s sea front to central London. The rally will join a green transport exhibition at the finish line which is free to attend.

An important part of this year’s Eco-Rally is to raise funds for a new children’s education centre, The Look Out. The Royal Parks Foundation plan to start building the centre in summer 2010. If you wish to make your own £1000 donation towards The Look Out, a commemorative plaque with your message will be inlaid at the base of the ISIS sculpture.
