Allied Electric Peugeot e-Expert Van

London Mayor Boris Johnson with Allied’s Dave Speak

Boris Johnson gave the thumbs up to the electrified commercial vehicles on display at City Hall.

The rally was a fantastic way to highlight the ability of electric vehicles. Our Expert performed brilliantly in the rally with lots of charge to spare. Boris himself congratulated us on our efforts. He was really impressed with the Expert’s 100 mile range and told me that the vehicle would be ideal for inner city journeys in and around London.
- Allied Zero Emission Vehicles (ZEV)

The Lithium-Ion batteries were put to the test when the eExpert travelled a total of 85 miles in 90 mins (with passengers!) via motorways and congested city streets, before parking up next to Allied ZEV's larger Peugeot Boxer van and their electric taxi. The passengers were Southern Electric staff, giving them the chance to experience the benefits of renewable, zero emission power generation.

Allied Vehicles is also authorised by both Peugeot and Citroën to carry out service and warranty work on their vehicles.
