Short journey / city vehicles

What if there was more space to drive and more space to park...

In the UK, most motorists drive to work alone, carrying only minimal luggage, meaning more than half the vehicle is usually 'dead weight and wasted space’. Many households feel they need the flexibility of more than one car, so it makes sense to either car-share or make that second vehicle as small as possible. Two-seater cars can be parked sideways, squeeze through small gaps, accelerate faster and get through traffic lights quicker - using less energy - making that commute to work much faster and more pleasant.

Comprehensive studies show that three Smart cars can pass through a set of traffic lights in the same time as two average sized cars plus two Smart cars can fit into one parking space.
