However, the most important factor was, and still is, price. BCA - the UK's largest used car seller, has provided proof that motorists are now making the connection between the two by discovering that there is a strong demand for hybrid/electric and LPG powered cars in the used car market. In fact they are selling well above the market price for their petrol and diesel counterparts.

In a recent survey, 23% have either used or are considering using car rental as an alternative to car ownership. Paul Wilson is one of those people and the Eco-Rally coincided with a week when he needed to hire a car, so he decided to take part and share his views.

This event will give a preview of the vehicles in action at the rally, and allow The Prince to show his personal support for technological solutions that will move us towards zero emissions and sustainable motoring.
