Chronic congestion has reached record levels in some cities. The UK's biggest breakdown organisation now uses the motorbikes and electric scooters to cut through traffic and reach breakdowns in central London up to 33% quicker, getting members and other traffic moving again with minimum delay.

Way back in 1956, company founder Soichiro Honda said: "After materials are carried into the factory, nothing but products should be carried out." Today, this has been achieved with zero waste to landfill at all Japanese manufacturing plants and Swindon to achieve this by 2010.

Nissan's advanced prototype Fuel Cell Vehicle (FCV) is part of Nissan's fleet participating in the California Fuel Cell Partnership trials in the US. Its UK tour acts as a catalyst to bring together like-minded organisations including local and national government, academic institutions and regional development agencies.

The Prince of Wales to Launch Revolve Eco Car Events
during London Sustainability Weeks

As a lead up to the UK's first ever eco-car rally on World Environment Day, HRH The Prince of Wales will lend his support at a pre-rally launch demonstrating some of the cars involved on Monday 4 June at Hampton Court Palace. This event will give a preview of the vehicles in action at the rally, and allow The Prince to show his personal support for technological solutions that will move us towards zero emissions and sustainable motoring.
