Battery Technology
All the scooters in the Electricycles range are powered by either Silicone or Lithium-Ion Batteries, depending on the model. Their battery chargers just plug into any regular three prong outlet. Compared to typical Lead-Acid batteries, they get better performance and last longer .
Silicone batteries are made from a silicate salt, are non-toxic and won’t corrode, making them easy to recycle. Recharging time is between 5-8hrs with a one-year warranty.
The Lithium-Ion scooters provide a larger range, more power and a longer battery life for those who need to go that extra mile. Recharging time is between 4-6hrs with a two-year warranty.
