About the Organisation
The Energy Saving Trust (EST) provides a range of resources to help your organisation reduce carbon dioxide emissions. EST is working with partners to deliver the Plugged in Fleets Initiative. 20 organisations across the country will receive tailored strategic plans on how they can incorporate EVs into their fleets. Boots, Wm Morrisons plc, and Network Rail are three of the companies who will benefit from the analysis to find out how EVs can benefit their business.
The Plugged-in Fleets Initiative is funded by Transport for London and the Department for Transport . In January 2013 results will be presented in a final report that will aim to benefit the whole fleet market with new and valuable lessons about the benefits of adopting EVs.
The Mia van is just one of the electric models being trialled by organisations such as City of York Council as part of the Plugged-In Fleets scheme .
