The 2011 Bridgestone Eco-Rally, will culminate on The Mall between Buckingham Palace and Trafalgar Square where they will join an all day celebration of sustainable transport options in association with the Start initiative - inspired by HRH Prince of Wales

This particular model was converted to run on E85 bioethanol, made from English wine wastage, in 2008 at the specific request of His Royal Highness.

The 2011 Bridgestone Eco-Rally event is in collaboration with Start- a national initiative by The Prince's Charities Foundation to promote and celebrate sustainable living and to show what a more energy efficient, cleaner and healthier future could look like. Start's objective is to present an inspiring picture of a sustainable future.
Several events will build up to the finale on Sunday 31 July, when the 2011 Bridgestone Eco-Rally will showcase a wide range of vehicles, transport products & services from some of the world's leading automakers. More...
