Future Transport Display - London City Hall

London City Hall is the headquarters of the Greater London Authority, the Mayor of London as well as the London Hydrogen Partnership. The futuristic design by Arup and Foster + Partners expresses the transparency and accessibility of the democratic process and demonstrates the potential for a sustainable, virtually non-polluting public building.

The iconic sphere-like form is part of an energy strategy to minimise perimeter surface area, reducing heat loss and heat gain and uses only a quarter of the annual energy consumption of a typical, prestige air-conditioned office.

City Hall is a private government building and all attendees must adhere to the admissions policy.

Getting There

City Hall is framed by Tower Bridge to the east, the Tower of London World Heritage site to the North and to the west is The Shard, headquarters of Transport For London at the newly transformed transport hub.

Great connectivity through a single transport interchange at London Bridge Station including the underground, mainline, road and water taxis, ferries, cycle & pedestrian routes and Hydrogen-powered buses.
