Forget everything you thought you knew about pedelecs (electric-assist pushbikes). The Gocycle is designed by an ex-Mclaren design engineer and was voted by The British Library as one of the most iconic inventions of this century’s first decade. This is executive travel at its best. The electric motor and sealed chan ensure you can ride to work in your suit - free of grease-stains and without breaking a sweat. The bike can fold to fit on a train in rush hour or sit in the corner of your office. The wheels are side mounted, so changing a flat is like a formula one pit-stop. Three gears and full suspension, all in a stylish package that weighs just 16kg.
Take the strain out of bike rides to work with the Gocycle electric bicycle. The Gocycle can run off an electric powered motor, which is discreetly stored inside the bike's front hub. The battery pack, which powers the motor, is hidden within the frame of the bike. The motor can power the Gocycle up to 15mph and travel for up to 20 miles, depending on how much effort you put into pedalling. When the battery runs out, you can simply recharge it from the mains electricity supply. Of course, you can ride the Gocycle just like a normal bike if you want, but if you want a helping hand on the way you simply need to flick the button on your handlebar.
The stylish Gocycle is fun to ride and is also very stylish. It's moulded in magnesium alloy called Magflow, which looks, feels and performs like carbon fibre, giving it a lightweight feel and quality looking finish. Unlike with standard push bikes, the three-speed chain on the Gocycle is completely enclosed, so your bike, hands and clothes stay free from grease. The wheels are side mounted too, so if you ever get a flat tyre you can easily pop it off and repair it. Like standard push bikes, the Gocycle comes with suspension and an adjustable seat and handlebar, so you get a comfortable riding experience.
