Tesla has already delivered cars in at least 25 countries and is favoured by Hollywood celebrities, European royalty and trendsetters worldwide. However, the South African-born CEO-co-founder, Elon Musk states that he's never given a car away for free or at a discount - an amazing situation in the current auto climate.

In 2009, all our guest drivers wanted to drive the LHD Roadster S. In the end, Zac Goldsmith shared the privilige with a very excited Quentin Wilson. Read Quentin's verdict (verus Jeremy Clarkson's).

Tax breaks for low-emission cars

UK companies that purchase a Roadster benefit from a 100 percent Writing Down Allowance, meaning they can deduct the price of the car from their taxable profits. The Roadster is the only sports car that has ever qualified for a such a tax incentive throughout the UK.

"We hear every day from people who want to start accumulating zero-emission miles – but they don’t want to sacrifice performance and fun,” - Tesla UK

Racing Roadsters

The UK Motor Sport Association now permits electric vehicles to race in official competitions and the Tesla Roadster has already begun collecting trophies at prestigious UK circuits like Goodwood. The Roadster accelerates faster than supercars that cost twice as much, yet it produces zero tailpipe emissions and is twice as energy efficient as leading hybrids.
