Lisa Rogers' Biofuel Conversion

LisaRogers-EcoRally10

The founder of the Revolve Eco-Rally, Steven Glaser, interviews Lisa Rogers about her own biofuelled family car. The kit was bought from Elsbett UK and installed with the help of the Scrapheap Challenge engineer.

With a growing family and a lifestyle that relies heavily on travelling by car, Lisa Rogers was a pioneer of DIY biofuel conversions - with the eventual aim of using locally-sourced, recycled fuel, without sacrificing drivability. With the help of Blooming Futures, her partner is currently building a filtration system which will enable them to use chip fat and other cooking oil from their local restaurants.
