Mio is the official navigation partner for the 2012 Eco-Rally and the guest drivers will be putting the latest in state-of-the-art in-car navigation technology to the test from Oxford to London. Features include Trip Planner, real-time traffic information, latest weather forecasts and advanced IQ Routes™, which collects real-life information from other drivers and optimises your route accordingly, allowing you to avoid congestion on every journey you take.
Choice of Routes
With the new Choice of Routes, instead of just one you can now preview four different routes in your screen: fastest, shortest, easiest and most economical and choose the route that best suits your need at the time. Lifetime Map Updates mean you never have to worry about new maps or road changes anymore.
Search & Find
The Spirit 697 LM and 695 LM used in the rally are equipped with MioMore™ Services, providing you with and Google® Local Search for finding exactly what you want.
Parking Assistance and Pedestrian Mode
All models in the new series are fitted with ‘Parking Assistance’ and ‘Pedestrian Mode’. The new Parking Assistance feature automatically shows a list of parking spaces when within 1 km of a destination, stopping the need to search for a nearby car park and saving stress when time is short.
Pedestrian Mode
When parked and on foot, ‘Pedestrian Mode’ directs users to a final destination and lets them explore new places not accessible by car.
