Modec electric van supports 2007 Brighton to London Eco-Rally
The Modec electric van was launched in March 2007 and put to the test in the first Revolve Eco-Rally. When Revolve invited guest driver Robert Llewellyn, he specifically asked to drive the van, knowing the significant positive impact this van could have in urban environments. As the official support vehicle, the van had to carry all the equipment from Brighton to London and keep up with the convoy on the motorways.
In 2009, Speedy Hire used one of their fleet of Modec vans to deliver a two-ton payload of ground-protection mats for the Eco-Rally finish line at City Hall. Designed to exceed today’s operator requirements, the full range of vehicles incorporate the latest in zero emission technology to ensure fleet operators are prepared for the future and able to reduce fuel consumption and CO2 emissions.
