Oxfordshire County Council Leader Keith Mitchell said: "We are delighted to be supporting this exciting event. The city has a proud history of car manufacturing and Oxfordshire is home to a wide range of research and business interests in the development of low carbon transport. More widely we are also leading the way as a hub for hi-tech industry and scientific innovation."
