Penney Poyzer, the Queen of Green

Penney Poyzer is one of the UK’s leading environmentalists. She is much in demand across the media - and for corporate clients - as a commentator and inspiring speaker across the spectrum of environmental issues. She is regularly called on by BBC TV news and many national and local radio stations for her quick fire commentary on green stories.

Also an author, writer and adviser she is regularly called upon to give seminars on her innovative home to central and local government bodies, to the construction industry, universities and schools and other organisations.

As presenter of BBC2’s prime time show NO WASTE LIKE HOME. For the first time on UK TV, viewers were given an antidote to the doom and gloom scenarios of global warming and given practical tips on how to achieve positive change. The show has also run to acclaim in the Netherlands. Poyzer lives in an energy-efficient Victorian house.
