For the fourth year in succession, the 2009 Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI) has ranked the BMW Group as the most sustainable car company in the world. The company offers the most efficient cars in the premium segment courtesy of EfficientDynamics technologies.

For Vicki's first Brighton to London Eco-Rally, she drove a Honda Civic Hybrid. Vicki presents Fifth Gear on Channel FIVE and for 2010, she's hoping to drive a Tesla.
The new series of Fifth Gear is on Channel Five (UK) every Thursday night at 7:30pm from 3.6.10 and in Australia on Channel 7TWO.

Saab created BioPower technology for drivers who want it all: turbo-charged performance plus the satisfaction of helping the environment. Saab BioPower environmental cars can reduce typical auto emissions of fossil carbon dioxide by up to 70% using E85 bioethanol (85% bioethanol, 15% petrol).

The Ford Focus Flexible Fuel Vehicle (FFV) is Britain's first biofuel car and can run on bioethanol or petrol in any mix in the same fuel tank. Bioethanol is a renewable fuel, now on sale at 10 Morrisons supermarkets and priced cheaper than unleaded petrol.

Jenny Jones is an ex-archaeologist and former chair of the Green party. She also occasinally writes for The Guardian. Elected to the London Assembly in 2000, she is the leader of the Green group in the assembly; in 2003, she was appointed Ken Livingstone's deputy mayor, a position which has been otherwise held by a Labour party member of the London Assembly.
