The historic London to Brighton Veteran Car Run marked the abolishment of the red flag act. In stark contrast, the 2008 People's Eco-Rally flips the iconic route on its head - waving a green flag to announce the parade of alternatively-fuelled vehicles from Brighton to London. The greenest cars, bikes, vans and trucks will once again be on display on the iconic sea-front strip where locals will have the chance to ask real people about life without oil
