The Exige 270E Tri-fuel, could be the forefather of a new generation of conventionally driven cars that have the potential to be environmentally-neutral. It is the most powerful road version yet of the Exige and it runs on any mixture of gasoline, methanol and bio-ethanol. For the Oxford to London Eco-Rally it will be powered by a blend of waste wine and cheese whey.

Roger Saul, creator of Mulberry, now turned eco-champion with his organic spelt brand Sharpham Park. Roger and Kevin McCloud will go head to head to see who can get from Brighton to London with most charge left in their THINK City Racing cars. As a guest challenger, they'll be joined by BBC Radio 4 presenter, Peter Curran. Roger Saul once recorded the fastest time of the day at the Brighton Speed Trials in his 1934 Alfa Romeo P3, but has reluctantly given up car racing as it conflicts with his eco credentials.
The Bridgestone Eco-Rally drivers will be fuelled by a variety of locally-grown products by Sharpham Park. Roger Saul's 300 acre organic estate near Glastonbury in Somerset. They pride themselves on using exemplary sustainable and organic farming techniques to grow and mill spelt, an ancient cousin of wheat with many health, taste and nutritional benefits.

Patrick has worked for the Soil Association since 1988 and as Director since 1995. During that period income has risen from £200,000 to £10 million and sales of organic food from £50 million to £2 billion. He is a regular broadcaster, speaker and writer, and was responsible for Tony and Pat Archer's conversion in 1985 and still advises for The Archers. Holden is also an astute networker, and has become a close friend of Prince Charles, who, as a result, is an arch pro organic believer. Prince Charles even has a bust of Holden in his garden at Highgrove in Gloucestershire.
The Soil Association promotes planet-friendly food and farming through education, campaigns and community programmes. Soil Association standards are among the highest and most comprehensive for organic production and processing in the world.
