biomethane

Methane is a GHG that is 20 times more powerful than Co2. It can be captured in landfills etc, and used as biomethane fuel to stop this gas from entering the atmosphere.

GENeco provides a recycling service for the production of renewable energy. Their technology can generate power from your waste, diverting it from landfill, through a process that benefits the environment and potentially reduces your business or organisation’s operating costs. GENeco also produce a nutrient-rich fertiliser which has been used by the farming community for many years.

The DeLorean Motor Company may have only been around for two years in the early eighties, but the DMC-12 achieved cult status when it was chosen to be time-machine by the makers of the Back to the Future Trilogy. They especially liked the futuristic gull-wing doors and stainless steel bodywork. Twenty years on, several companies have sprung up to serve the cult following, selling all the props you need to convert your DeLorean into the BTTF Car - incl. the BTTF1 Fuel Cell, Mr. Fusion Home Energy Reactor and even a Flux Capacitor!.

The People's Eco-Rally

At the height of the fuel protests and the heated debate about food vs fuel, Revolve set British motorists a challenge: Drive from Brighton to London in the greenest way you can. The destination was a music festival on Clapham Common, where the drivers were tested for eco-driving skills whilst their cars were tested for emissions.

Christopher Maltin serves as the UK’s representative on the Bioenergy Committee of the International Energy Agency. In the 1970's, his pioneering and highly successful work on lead-free fuel systems for high performance engines led to an interest in methane gas as a 'clean' fuel for vehicles.

Organic Power was formed in 1997 to market and develop the technology known as the Maltin® System. The Maltin® System is a simple but very effective waste treatment system based on a series of low energy tanks in lagoons reverses environmental pollution and produces renewable fuel for heating or cooling, or to power vehicles, or make electricity.

Gasrec is a leading producer of liquid methane fuel using gas created by the decomposition of biomass. They obtain the gas supply from existing landfill sites or from digestion of the biomass byproducts of food manufacture and retail and other industries. In creating and selling the fuel product they recover energy stored in material discarded by society to power society’s vehicles.
