Volvo is latin for "I roll...". Volvo was born in 1927, when the first car ÖV4, nicknamed 'Jakob', left the factory in Gothenburg. Vehicle safety is Volvo Cars' most important asset. The goal is to protect all people in traffic situations including the driver, passengers and pedestrians. Volvo Cars works to lower climate impact through efficiency, alternative fuels and hybrid technologies.

Chronic congestion has reached record levels in some cities. The AA - UK's biggest breakdown organisation - now uses the motorbikes and electric scooters to cut through traffic and reach breakdowns in central London up to 33% quicker, getting members and other traffic moving again with minimum delay.

Nissan's advanced prototype Fuel Cell Vehicle (FCV) is part of Nissan's fleet participating in the California Fuel Cell Partnership trials in the US. Its UK tour acts as a catalyst to bring together like-minded organisations including local and national government, academic institutions and regional development agencies.

Despite the fact that the Explorer is an SUV, the only emission coming from the exhaust is water and the only audible noise is from the big fat nobbly tyres. The all-wheel drive, 6-passenger vehicle has already undergone 17,000 miles of road testing and set a fuel cell record for longest distance traveled in 24hrs.
