Dr Martin Dare-Edwards, UK Country Manager for Infineum and Chairman of the recently established Oxfordshire Local Enterprise Partnership. Martin believes that the “internal combustion engine is going on a long way...”, and expects to see at least 30 years of growth in the ICE vehicle area before EVs represent a sizeable proportion of the vehicle parc.

Infineum sits in an integral part of the oil and automotive industry supply chain. But Infineum is a quiet giant. You won’t see products tagged ‘Infineum Inside’ – but you can be sure that the Infineum group’s additives can be found in lubricants and fuels sold around the world.

About the Organisation

Infineum's products are used in 1-in-3 of the world's vehicles. All Infineum product developments are aimed at reducing the environmental impact of transportation.

Lisa Rogers has been a supporter of the Revolve Brighton to London Eco-Rally since the beginning. So far she's test-driven a zero emission Nissan FCV and a biothenol Saab convertible. She also joined our People's Eco-Rally in her her own car which is converted to run on pure vegetable oil. For 2010 she's driving the insane Oaktec rally-racing hybrid and the electric MINI E.

“I’ve been a member of Greenpeace for years, but possibly didn’t live as green a lifestyle as I should have done. “Having had two children I’ve started to think about what sort of planet I’ll be leaving them to live on.”

Mike spent much of his early youth in Africa - often helping his father make cars & motorcycles go quickly round a track - and dreamed of one day becoming a car designer. Now living in London, he prefers the speed of the bicycle through the city streets. He has a degree in Ecological Design from Goldsmiths University and has implemented environmental management strategies for the likes of the National Consumer Council. Mike believes that together we can design, encourage and support a better way of getting from A to Z.
