The first leg of the 75 mile parade of zero emission vehicles from bikes and trikes, to sports cars, to buses and coaches. The route will travel past The Ghost Forest installation outside Oxford University - a major art installation of 10 primary rainforest tree stumps a commercially logged forest in Western Africa.
The Exige 270E Tri-fuel, could be the forefather of a new generation of conventionally driven cars that have the potential to be environmentally-neutral. For the Oxford to London Eco-Rally it will be powered by a blend of waste wine and cheese whey.
About the Organisation
The 2011 Bridgestone Eco-Rally will be partially carbon-offset by Fone Twigs and OxTreeGen who are working towards creating new woodlands on sites throughout the UK.

So you may be wondering how it qualifies to be in the Eco-Rally.
On Sunday 31 July 2011, shortly after the ceremonial Queen's Lifeguard and Changing of the Guards, the Eco-Rally convoys will parade past Buckingham Palace to join an eclectic mix of vehicles and mobility services on display along The Mall between Buckingham Palace and Trafalgar Square.
