200km/h top-speed. Range of 400km on a single charge. Just 6hrs to re-charge using a normal socket. This student-built car has been tried and tested all the way from Alaska to Argentina. The epic road trip was aimed at shattering the public perception of electric vehicles as slow, unattractive and of limited range.

Electric and plug-in hybrid vans are now eligible for a government grant, which will be available to both private and business buyers across the UK.
